Tecumseh had it´s best defensive effort of the year vs. Pinckney.  Outstanding floor positioning and rebounding made it difficult for Pinckney to get anything going on the offensive end.  Unfortunately, Tecumseh had it´s own shooting struggles en route to a 27-37 defeat.  With the loss, the Indians fell to 1-8 / 0-5 SEC White.

¨We tell the kids all the time that it starts with defense.  Tonight, we completely shut Pinckney down.  It was the best defense we´ve played yet.  However, we were ice cold from the field.  We didn´t really look to push the ball much, and therefore, it became a half court game.  They packed it in and invited us to shoot from the outside, and we couldn´t buy a basket.  We ended up 4/31 from 3 and a lot of them were great looks,¨ commented Coach Mike Ruhl.

Statistically for Tecumseh were Colin Brazil with 10 points, 3 assists and 3 steals; Macguire Hawley with 9 points; Michael Rine with 6 points and 7 rebounds; and JJ Arbini with 2 points and 9 rebounds.
