The Tecumseh Boy’s Track team placed 2^nd at the Clinton Pelz Invitational Friday night.. The team placed 2^nd with 78 points below Dundee winning with 85 points.   Scoring for Tecumseh was; 100m Jacob Denison (11.68) 1srt and 2^nd was Deandre Blayer with 1(11.87).  Scoring in the 200m 1^st Jacob Denison (23.00), Scoring in the 400m was 1^st Jacob Denison with a time of (54.08) and 4^th was Ryan Somsel (56.82). Placing 1st in the 800m was Parker Hedrick with time of (2:04.2) and Eric Ries was 4^th (2:05.2).  Tyler Nowak finished 3^rd in the 1600 ( 5:04.0) and 4^th in the 3200m with (11:08.1)  Nick Case placed 4^th in the 300m Hurdles (48.26).  The 4x100 Relay took 1^st with a time of 46.27 and the 4x400m took 1^st also with (3:37).  The 4x200 and 4x800 both placed second. Scoring for long jump was Deandre Blayer with a PR of 20’4 for 3^rd and Robert Talicska with a jump of 18’10.   The Indians are looking for their next competition against Pinckney.

The Tecumseh Girl's team placed 1^st at the Clinton Pelz Invitational Friday night.. The girls won against with 105 points above Dundee with 81 points.   Scoring for Tecumseh was; 100m Tyler Fugate (13.68). Scoring in the 200m 2^nd Abbie McDowell (29.6), 3^rd Erin Rutledge (29.86), and 4^th Emily Peterson (30.16).  Isabelle Brigman took 3^rd in the 400m (1:06.5) .  Katie Selenko took 1^st in the 800m with (2:33.65). Kaitlin Knape took 2^nd in the 1600m with (5:56.9) and 1^st in the 3200m with (12:10). Haley Talicska took 1^st in the 100m Hurdles with a time of (16.7) and also won the 300m Hurdels with (51.90). The Tecumseh girls sweep all the relays 4x1, 4x2, 4x4, 4x8.  Abbie and Isabelle Brigman sweep the Discus with a first and second place victory each throwing 90 feet.  Tyler Fugate and Quincy Garrison went 1^st and 3^rd in long jump.   The Lady Indians are off to a great start and with the first invitational win of the season.   Great job.
