The Tecumseh High School Girls Swim Team competed in their first home meet of the 2020 season against Dexter on Thursday 9/24 at the Tecumseh Community Pool.  The final score was Dexter 122 and Tecumseh 57.  Tecumseh finished with 4 first place finishes and a 3 state qualifying times.  First place finishes included Linda Hensley in the 200 yard Individual Medley with a state qualifying time of 2:15.68, Makayla Sanders in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 26.31, Amelia Danley in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 1:06.71, and the 400 yard Freestyle Relay of Linda Hensley, Amelia Danley, Kylie Balent, and Makayla Sanders with a time of 3:57.29.  Other state qualifying times included the 200 yard Medley Relay of Amelia Danley, Linda Hensley, Kylie Balent, and Makayla Sanders with a time of 1:57.19 and Linda Hensley in the 100 yard Freestyle with a time of 55.02. Tecumseh's next meet is home against Erie Mason on Tuesday 9/29.
