The Tecumseh High School Girls Swim and Dive Team competed against the Adrian High School Girls Swim and Dive Team at the Tecumseh Community Pool on Thursday October 15th.  The final score was Tecumseh 85 and Adrian 74.  Tecumseh finished with 3 new state cuts, 8 first place finishes, and 14 season best times, 8 of which were high school career best times.  State cuts included Makayla Sanders in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.88, Linda Hensley in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:00.11, and Linda Hensley again in the 100 yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:12.27.  Other first place finishes included the 200 yard Medley Relay team of Amelia Danley, Linda Hensley, Kylie Balent, and Makayla Sanders with a time of 1:57.57, Amelia Danley in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 1:06.32, Makayla Sanders in the 100 yard Freestyle with a time of 57.05, Amelia Danley in the 100 yard Backstroke with a time of 1:05.48, and the 400 yard Freestyle Relay team of Makayla Sanders, Kylie Balent, Amelia Danley, and Linda Hensley with a time of 4:06.22.  High School Career Best Times, not previously mentioned, were achieved by Isabella Hennings in the 200 yard Freestyle, Lauren Stimpson in the 200 yard Individual Medley, Evelyn Adams in the 50 yard Freestyle, Lacey Gilson in the 100 yard Freestyle, and Kara Olberg in the 500 yard Freestyle. Tecumseh's next meet is scheduled for Tuesday 10/20 at home vs. Erie Mason.
