The Tecumseh High School Boys Swim Team held their first home meet of the 2020-21 season against the Erie Ida Swim and Dive Team on Tuesday 2/2 at the Tecumseh Community Pool. The final score was Erie Ida 148, Tecumseh 22. Tecumseh has a team of 4 swimmers this year, making it tough to compete based on scoring, however they were able to finish with 6 season best times, 5 of which were High School Career Best Times. High School Career Best Times included: Grant Fahle in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 1:24.25 (first time swim), Michael Root in the 100 yard Freestyle with a time of 1:31.27, Colton Caudill in the 500 yard Freestyle with a time of 7:19.54 (first time swim), Max Gilbert in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 29.30 (lead leg of 200 yard Freestyle Relay), and Michael Root in the 100 yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:01.12 (first time swim).
