Tecumseh´s Varsity Boys Basketball team gave the senior-heavy and tough as nails Jackson Vikings all they could handle, but ended up on the losing end by the score of 48-65. With the loss, the Indians fall to 1-7 overall / 0-4 SEC White.
¨I loved our effort! Our defense was really good, from close-outs to rebounding. We worked as a team and really battled a very good team. Hopefully we can build on this next week,¨ commented Coach Mike Ruhl.
Statistically for Tecumseh were Cormac Phelan with 10 points; Colin Brazil with 9 points; Michael Rine with 7 points and 5 rebounds; Macguire Hawley with 6 points; JJ Arbini with 4 points and 3 assists; Ryan Clary and Tyler LaFollette with 3 points each; and Morrie Schmidt, Alex Lawson and Joe Kane with 2 points each.
