Five members of the Tecumseh High School Boys Swim Team competed at the 2019 MHSAA Boys State Swim Meet with prelims on Friday 3/8 and Finals on Saturday 3/9 at Oakland University.  Out of 6 swims, the boys had 3 High School Career Best (HSCB) Times and 2 Season Best (SB) Times.  Kyle Mitchell was the only swimmer to qualify for finals on Saturday with a HSCB time of 1:01.38 in the 100 yard Breaststroke finishing 15th overall in the finals.  Kyle also swam the 100 yard Butterfly with a HSCB time of 55.05 finishing 24th.  Giovanni Lore had a HSCB time in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 55.86 finishing 33rd overall.  He also finished 21st in the 100 yard Freestyle with a time of 49.83.  The 200 Medley Relay team of Cole Wanzeck, Kyle Mitchell, Giovanni Lore, and Gabe Roberts finished 25th with a SB time of 1:45.76 and the 200 Freestyle Relay team of Kyle Mitchell, Alex Mitchell, Gabe Roberts, and Giovanni Lore finished 22nd with a SB time of 1:33.50. The Tecumseh High School Boys Swim Team finished 30th overall with 3 points.
