The Tecumseh High School Boys Swim Team and Tecumseh Kiwanis hosted 6 teams, roughly 140 swimmers and divers,  for the 2020 Kiwanis Invitational on Saturday January 25th at the Tecumseh Community Pool.  Besides Tecumseh, the teams included were Adrian, Bedford, Chelsea, Erie-Ida, Jackson, and Pinckney.  No scores are kept for this meet, which separates freshman/sophomores and juniors/seniors to compete against their respective grades.  Tecumseh ended the day with 2 first place finish by Giovanni Lore, one in the 50 yard Freestyle with a state qualifying and personal career best time of 22.84 and the other in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 57.28.  The boys also put up 5 season best times, including 4 high school career best times.  Besides Lore’s 50 yard Freestyle time, other high school career best times included Colin Harris in the 50 yard Backstroke on the Medley Relay with a time of 35.57, Noah Manuszak in the 200 yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:24.13, and Max Gilbert in the 100 yard Backstroke with a time of 1:20.71.  The Tecumseh High School Boys will next compete on Thursday, January 30th at home (the Tecumseh Community Pool) at 6pm.
