The Tecumseh High School Boys Swim Team competed in the SEC White Division Championships on Saturday 3/13/21 at the Dexter Community Pool.  The team, consisting of 5 swimmers, knew going in to the championships that good swims and best times were the goal, not points, since we were by far the smallest team in the division. The final scores were: Dexter 584, Pinckney 432, Jackson 428, Adrian 241, Chelsea 230, Lincoln 199, and Tecumseh 53.  The 5 Tecumseh Boys finished with 9 season best times out of 12 total swims, 6 of which were High School Career Best Times.  Best Times included: Colton Caudill in the 200 yard Freestyle with a time of 2:20.63; Grant Fahle, Kyle Mackey, and Michael Root in the 50 yard Freestyle with respective times of 26:03, 28.96, and 36.85; Grant Fahle and Kyle Mackey in the 100 yard Freestyle with respective times of 58.09 (1st leg of 400 Free Relay) and 1:08.51; The 200 yard Freestyle Relay Team of Max Gilbert, Kyle Mackey, Colton Caudill, and Grant Fahle with a time of 1:51.16; Max Gilbert in the 100 yard Backstroke with a time of 1:20.51; and the 400 yard Freestyle Relay team of Grant Fahle, Kyle Mackey, Colton Caudill, and Max Gilbert with a time of 4:15.08 (22.73 second drop).  The boys also had 6 best relay splits including Kyle Mackey and Colton Caudill in the 200 yard Freestyle Relay with respective 50 yard freestyle splits of 29.53 and 26.78, and all 4 swimmers in the 400 yard Freestyle Relay of Grant Fahle, Kyle Mackey, Colton Caudill, and Max Gilbert with respective 100 yard Freestyle splits of 58.09, 1:06.49, 1:04.52, and 1:05.98. This concludes the THS Boys Swim Team 2021 Winter Season.
