The Tecumseh High School Girls Swim Team competed against Adrian and Saline on Thursday 9/13 at the Adrian High School Pool. The final score for the Tecumseh vs. Adrian meet was Tecumseh 123 and Adrian 57 and the final score for the Tecumseh vs Saline meet was Saline 122 and Tecumseh 63. Tecumseh finished with 1 new MISCA cut, 2 new State cuts, 16 season best times, and 9 high school career best times. State qualifiers included freshman Linda Hensley in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:17.96 and the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Julianne Lore, Kamilla Linn, Ashlyn Clewis, and Linda Hensley with a time of 3:52.14. Along with those qualifiers, Tecumseh had 1 more MISCA qualification, which was Linda Hensley in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:14.80. Tecumseh's next meet is against Ypsilanti on Tuesday 9/18 at the Ypsilanti High School Pool.
