The Tecumseh High School Girls Swim Team competed at the D3 Midseason Invitational in Holland, MI on Saturday 9/22. Tecumseh finished 4th out of 12 team with a score of 305.  Top 3 teams included Milan (387), Chelsea (383), and Holland Christian (329).  The Tecumseh girls had a great meet, finishing with:

• 1 Tecumseh High School Freshman Record - Linda Hensley in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 53.93
• 6 State Cuts - Ashlyn Clewis in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 25.53, Linda Hensley in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 53.93, Linda Hensley in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:10.57, Kamilla Linn in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:13.10, Kamila Linn in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:01.03, and Veda Massanari-Thatcher in the 200 IM with a time of 2:20.34
•  5 additional MISCA Cuts - Julianne Lore in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 26.17, Kylie Dawley in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 26.23, Julianne Lore in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 56.91, Kylie Dawley in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:05.13, and Amelia Danley in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:20.70

Tecumseh now has Relay State Cuts for two 200 Medley Relays, two 200 Freestyle Relays, and one 400 Freestyle Relay and Individual State Cuts for one 50 Freestyle swimmer, two 100 Freestyle swimmers, one 500 Freestyle swimmer, two 100 Backstroke swimmers, two 100 Breaststroke swimmers, one 100 Butterfly swimmer, and two 200 Individual Medley swimmers. Tecumseh will host Jackson High School on Thursday 9/27 at the Tecumseh Community Pool.
