The Tecumseh High School Girls Swim and Dive Team competed against the Chelsea High School Girls Swim and Dive Team at the Tecumseh Community Pool on Tuesday September 17th.  It was a record breaking night for Tecumseh with a well fought final score of Tecumseh 94, Chelsea 91.  The Tecumseh girls ended the night with 2 new Pool Records, including Emily Solarski in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 58.52, breaking the pool record set in 2008 by Stark of Bedford and the 200 yard Medley Relay of Amelia Danley, Linda Hensley, Emily Solarski, and Julianne Lore with a time of 1:53.27, breaking the pool record set in 2008 by a relay team from Bedford.  The girls also improve on 4 State cut times and 2 Michigan Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (MISCA) cut times; added 2 MISCA cut times, including Emily Solarski and Julianne Lore in the 100 yard Freestyle with times of 56.41 and 57.37, respectively; and had 12 personal best times throughout the meet.  The next competition for the Tecumseh Girls Swim and Dive Team will take place on Thursday September 19th at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School.  This will be a quad meet against Ann Arbor Pioneer, Monroe, Lincoln, and Tecumseh.
