The Tecumseh High School Girls Swim and Dive Team sent 8 members of the team to Oakland University on Friday 11/22 and Saturday 11/23 to compete in the MHSAA Division 3 State Meet.  State Team members included Julianne Lore, Emily Solarski, Amelia Danley, Linda Hensley, Kylie Balent, Kylie Dawley, Makayla Sanders, and Lauren Stimpson.   The team finished the meet tied for 7th place with Plainwell High School.  The girls ended up with 5 All State (1-8 place) Swims, 2 Consolation Finals (9-16 place) swims, 2 THS Varsity Records, and 8 Season Best Swims.  

All State Swims included:

1. 200 yard Medley Relay of Amelia Danley, Linda Hensley, Emily Solarsky, and Julianne Lore finishing 4th with a time of 1:49.82.  These girls also broke their own THS Varsity Record in prelims with a time of 1:49.36
2. Linda Hensley in the 200 yard Individual Medley finishing 5th with a time of 2:09.35, breaking her own THS Varsity Record 
3. Emily Solarski in the 100 yard Butterfly finishing 6th with a time of 57.44.
4. Linda Hensley in the 100 yard Freestyle finishing 3rd with a season best time of 52.31.
5. 400 yard Freestyle Relay of Julianne Lore, Makayla Sanders, Emily Solarski, and Linda Hensley finishing 7th with a season best time of 3:39.78.

Consolation Finals Swims included:

1. Emily Solarski in the 50 yard Freestyle finishing 16th with a time of 25.18.  She also had a season best time in prelims with a 25.02.
2. Amelia Danley in the 100 yard Backstroke finishing 12th with a time of 59.98. She also had a season best time in prelims with a 59.96

Preliminarie Swims included:

1. Amelia Danley in the 200 yard Individual Medley finishing 19th with a season best time of 2:18.42
2. Julianne Lore in the 50 yard Freestyle finishing 21st with a time of 25.34
3. Julianne Lore in the 100 yard Freestyle finishing 25th with a season best time of 55.63
4. 200 yard Freestyle Relay of Makayla Sanders, Lauren Stimpson, Kylie Balent, and Kylie Dawley finishing 24th with a time of 1:47.04
