The Tecumseh High School Girls Swim and Dive Team competed against the Chelsea High School Girls Swim and Dive Team at the Charles S. Cameron Pool in Chelsea on Thursday October 1st.  The final score was Chelsea 102 and Tecumseh 74.  Tecumseh finished with 9 first place finishes.  First place finishes included the 200 yard Medley Relay team of Amelia Danley, Linda Hensley, Kylie Balent, and Makayla Sanders with a time of 1:58.80, Kylie Balent in the 200 yard Freestyle with a time of 2:18.68, Linda Hensley in the 200 yard Individual Medley with an improved state qualifying time of 2:14.61, Makayla Sanders in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 26.49, Amelia Danley in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 1:08.55, Makayla Sanders in the 100 yard Freestyle with a time of 57.87, Amelia Danley in the 100 yard Backstroke with a time of 1:09.52, Linda Hensley in the 100 yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:12.82, and the 400 yard Freestyle Relay team of Kylie Balent, Makayla Sanders, Amelia Danley, and Linda Hensley with a time of 3:57.25.  Tecumseh's next meet is scheduled for Tuesday 10/6 at home vs. Pinckney.
