The Tecumseh High School Girls Swim Team competed against the Jackson High School Girls Swim and Dive Team at the Jackson High School Pool on Thursday October 22nd.  The final score was Jackson 100 and Tecumseh 80. Tecumseh finished with 8 first place finishes, and 9 season best times, 5 of which were high school career best times.  First place finishes included the 200 yard Medley Relay team of Amelia Danley, Linda Hensley, Kylie Balent and Makayla Sanders with a time of 1:57.71, Linda Hensley in the 200 yard Freestyle with a time of 2:01.12, Makayla Sanders in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 26.11,  Amelia Danley in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 1:06.42, Linda Hensley in the 100 yard Freestyle with a time of 55.64, Kylie Balent in the 500 yard Freestyle with a time of 6:06.67, Amelia Danley in the 100n yard Backstroke with a time of 1:05.46, and the 400 yard Freestyle Relay team of Makayla Sanders, Kylie Balent, Amelia Danley, and Linda Hensley with a time of 4:03.86.  High School Career Best Times, not previously mentioned, were achieved by Isabella Hennings, Kara Olberg, and Evelyn Adams in the 50 yard Freestyle, Lacey Gilson in the 100 yard Freestyle, and Lauren Stimpson in the 100 yard Breaststroke. Tecumseh's next meet is scheduled for Tuesday 10/27 at the Tecumseh Communityn Pool.
