The Tecumseh High School Girls Swim Team competed against the Pinckney High School Girls Swim Team at the Tecumseh Community Pool on Tuesday October 27th.  The final score was Tecumseh 92 and Pinckney 56. Tecumseh finished with 10 first place finishes, 1 state qualifying time, and 11 season best times, 9 of which were high school career best times.  The lone state qualifying time was from Linda Hensley in the 500 yard Freestyle with a time of 5:30.98.  First place finishes included the 200 yard Medley Relay team of Kylie Balent, Lauren Stimpson, Linda Hensley, and Isabella Hennings with a time of 2:08.29, Makayla Sanders in the 200 yard Freestyle with a time of 2:05.64, Amelia Danley in the 200 yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:34.04, Lauren Stimpson in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 27.92,  Kylie Balent in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 1:10.45, Lauren Stimpson in the 100 yard Freestyle with a time of 1:02.46, Linda Hensley in the 500 yard Freestyle with a time of 5:30.98, Makayla Sanders in the 100 yard Backstroke with a time of 1:08.57, Linda Hensley in the 100 yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:12.39, and the 400 yard Freestyle Relay team of Amanda Harris, Kylie Balent, Makayla Sanders, and Amelia Danley with a time of 4:23.12.  High School Career Best Times, not previously mentioned, were achieved by Lacey Gilson in the 200 yard Freestyle, Isabella Hennings and Evelyn Adams in the 50 yard Freestyle, Amanda Harris in the 500 yard Freestyle, and Amelia Danley in the 100 yard Breaststroke. Tecumseh's next meet is the SEC White Division Championships on Saturday 10/31 at the Charles S. Cameron Pool in Chelsea.
